Is there any company other than Bike Friday that makes a folding bicycle carrying case that converts into a trailer? I'm looking into getting one to take on board ship (I'm in the Canadian Navy) and space is at a premium...

Bravewolf,in answer to your question. Not that i know of . If you are handy you may be able to make your own.Check Gaerlan cycles they have plans for homebuilt bikes etc through their links .You should be able to find them easily with a search. They also sell thier own small wheeled touring bike called The Go travel.A bike mag you may like is A to B it reviews folders etc and may provide you with some good ideas as well as a good read. May you have fair winds and following seas.I am USNR myself.

I've run across some homebrew style ones. Do some searching on the internet, and if I find my links, I'll post them to this thread too.

The prices for all of these have been quite high, though.
