I just sold bike number three for the year today. I've decided that I don't really want to keep up with a big stable of bicycles again. I'm down to a 2009 Giant Seek 2, a highly modified 1987 Schwinn Cimarron (that sets under a drop cloth and doesn't get ridden), a Frankenbike built on a Nashbar mountain frame and a 1995 Trek 970 that I got for free and is in pieces and in great need of repair.
I only ride two of the three bikes that are complete but I wouldn't mind having a third in the rotation. I may build the Trek up as a commuter and if I do it will bike number three to ride and that will be it. If I don't build it I'll give the frame away and maybe buy a Kona Ute one day as the third bike in the rotation.
Today I sold a 1995 Trek 930 to a guy I work with. A few weeks ago I sold a 2011 Kona Dr. Good to a lady I work with for her son's birthday. And, before that I sold a Dahon folder. N-3 really isn't so bad (so far).
