I will be visiting Graz at the end of July 2012 for a conference, and will have a few free days before and after the event. I'd like to do some road bicycling on a couple of those days, and would like to rent a good multi-speed road bicycle and helmet. Can anyone suggest a bike shop that rents good quality bicycles and has someone who I can corresponds with in English?

Hi,

May I jump into this thread? I'm also going to be in Graz in July for a conference and want (need, really) to rent a road bike so I can get out on some quick early morning spins as well as a couple longer rides (4-5 hours). Any help would be great!

So far, I have had no success finding a place to rent a road bike. Apparently there are lots of places to rent "city bikes", which I think are not what I'm looking for. Some online places mention "trekking bikes" -- I'm not sure what that means.

Are you attending FOIS or ICBO? Maybe we could get together for a ride or a hike?
