Southeast - Any worthwhile roads to bike on in South Florida?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Looking for places to road bike in South Florida with little areas of traffic and have at least a 10+ mile distance. I just got my rode bike and I am looking for somewhere worthwhile I can bike without worrying about cars and hopefully have some scenery.
You can follow the Everglades Bicycle Club to the Kenilworth Lodge in Sebring this weekend. They've got rides scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rides from 10 miles to a Century on Saturday on well paved back roads that my club(Highlands Pedalers) painted so you can stay on the route and not get lost. You don't say where you are in South Florida but Sebring is a little over 2 hours from Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm, by car and not quite that far from Naples or Ft Myers. The Everglades group usually comes to town with everything from old folks on comfort bikes to roadies that will ride that Saturday Century that would make most of the Forum 41 crowd cry:lol: They are for the most part a friendly group who let us country boys ride with them, however they won't see my ancient, oversized behind in front of them on the way to Bok Tower Saturday:D
