if i could only get my father to ride with me.....

I took my son out this weekend on his first mtb (not from kmart). He did great. i kept trying to drop him in the rock gardens and mud pits but he stayed right behind me. I finally got him on distance but he'll get that and turn out to be amuch better rider than me.

I know what you mean. My sons been riding for 3 yrs now. Last trail ride he dropped me on the downhill. He's got his new bike where he likes it so he'll just get better and I'll get slower. :D
