Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just finished a short tour of New Zealand, and it is some of the most amazing scenery I have ever been blessed to see (and I have visited over 30 countries).
Here is a link to my first of 3 blog posts on the ride (on my family's blog about our expatriate stay in China):

I was born there. Lived there till I was 26 or so and ended up in Korea with a wife and 2 kids for the last 12 years. I agree, there aren't many countries with the contrast of Mountains, Beaches, Fiords, Glaciers, Thermal springs, and forests/farm land so close together. Perhaps its time for months vacation back home to remind myself of this fact. :)

Krobinson, I don't know how you ever left, I certainly didn't want to.

Money and taxes. First off getting a job right from University is almost impossible. It goes like this "so you have a degree, have you ever worked in the industry?" Of course the answer is no. 60 interviews later I got sick of that. I applied to the army, they said I was too old and too qualified. Finally disgusted I left for Korea and I haven't been back since. Taxes? I object to paying 40% of income to the government when I can pay 3% here.
