Me again. I'm looking to put together a better wheelset than what comes with the Viaggio (shouldn't be hard). This rim is getting some attention from the singles crowd:

It looks pretty solid to me. 25mm wide and 28mm deep, making it wider and slightly less deep than the Topolino. Reportedly, it's a very stiff rim. Per the shop owner, these rims should work for a tandem. And, they are super cheap.

Any thought?

On paper it looks good. With those dimensions and weight I would be concerned about braking surface being too thin and also possible brake pulsing.
The only way to find out would be try it.
I have been using Velocity Fusion 32H with good results.
