Wish we even had bike lanes in my city--at least I've not seen them.

They are indeed bright. So, what happens when it rains? Do the painted lanes get as slippery as most painted surfaces on the highway?

"There have been some glitches. When a San Francisco motorcycle cop lost control and skidded on the green paint along Fell Street on a rainy day, crews had to return and recoat the thermoplastic material to make the lanes less slick."

Yeah, that was my concern too. As long as there's some sort of granular addition to aid with traction all should be well. Hopefully. I may have to take a detour on my way home today and get my retinas burned out...

Only in San Fran. "Oh let's make a nice bike lane. Oh, let's paint it green. You know for the "green" movement". LMAO. Slip, bang. Amazing. They probably mix some sand in it for traction. Oh gees...
Create laws that make gas expensive. Then can't afford the gas. Now go back to bike, horse and buggy days. That's 'progress' for ya. Huh?
