It's tough to tell. The Schwinn bike has no front or rear shocks and the kit your getting can go very fast. This YouTube video uses the same kit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfCxLnpckB4&list=PL0FB375018F9A97D9&index=2&feature=plpp_video

I would look for a mountain bike to install it on. Also, if your going with the front hub motor you'll need to use torque arms (http://www.ebike.ca/store/store_connectors.php) which the kit doesn't provide.

Ask the vendor also if the rim is double walled and the spokes are 12g.

I actually dont want to get shocks. It was intentional. If the rides to rough ill just get another seat or something. Any ways i spend all my time on paved roads.

And the speed.. Well thats why i want the 1000W unit. Any ways im a bit heavy so the extra power will help and is needed.

Im still confused about the damn tires. On the decription page it says 700 x 40c.. whats that mean?

Do 24" rims need to be fitted with 26" tires, Do 26" Rims need to be fitted with 28" tires? Or So 46" get fitted with 26" tires.. I feel like such a novice.

24 inch rims need 24 inch tires, 26 inch rims need 26 inch tires, and so on.
A 700 x 40 tires fits a 700c rim. The tire in question is 40 mm wide.

The shocks are mainly to protect the bicycle frame from the added stresses; they also will give you a more comfortable ride. :)

Well im very careful and its not like im using this bike to commute. The reason why im gettting it is to have fun every now and then. Im sure it will be fine.

So this means no it will not fit?

Not without having it laced to a 700c rim, no, not on that Schwinn.
Buying a new rim, having custom spoked cut, and paying for the labor, will run north of a hundred bucks.
I would also recommend buying a new fork, that motor may very likely be too much for the Schwinn's--Another $125, and you should also upgrade the headset while you are at it, $50+.

Remember a 1000 watt motor is putting more power through that frame than a pro rider in the Tour de France. Wear and tear on parts needs to be considered. Fork failures and not fun.

I would still recommend upgrading the fork for that motor. A rigid fork over a suspension fork.

How much would a fork cost? im trying to keep cost low..

Also. what about the disk brakes? I wont run into any problems will i?

Last. What if i dont want to add those hideous brake levers?

You'll need those brake levers. Because if you have to stop fast and still have the power going to the wheels you won't stop very fast. See there is a power shut off switch in the brake levers. So if you hit the brakes and still have power to the wheels. It will shut the power off to the wheels.

As for disk Brakes, they are better for stoping at higher speeds. But the rim breaks will do if you don't won't the disk brakes. It will just take longer to stop.

I e-mailed the manufacture. The motor dosnt allows for the installation of disk breaks.
