I'm interested in buying a used 2007 7.6 FX 17.5 inch frame bike on line and I'm trying to determine if it would fit me or not. I'm 5.9 about 190 lbs. I have a 20 inch Giant mountain bike that is too tall for me, I can't raise or lower the seat. I tried a 17.5 inch 2012 7.3 FX at a bike shop with the seat raised about 3 inches wearing tennis shoes and it seemed fine for me with my toes touching the ground. Could the 2007 7.6 FX be different in height than the 2012 7.3 FX even if both bikes are 17.5 inch frame? Your thoughts please. Thanks.
