Fifty Plus (50+) - 50+ jersey pics.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ccorlew has mentioned about the jerseys and that is something we all have to thank him for. He did mention that he would like to see pics of the 50+ jerseys posted and that there are a lot more jerseys out there than pics posted of them.
So who starts--Cant get to my pics right now or it would have been
Where are the rest of the pics.
OK Got one off Facebook- London to Brighton Last year and at the finish. The top coat is my Normal weatherproof for riding in 2011. It was a wet year

I am a little disappointed in this thread! I was out all evening at another Ladies Night at my bike store and thought I would return to find hundreds of photos posted here, perhaps even a 50+ Jersey photo sticky! It would be great to see what everyone looks like, especially in our "uniform." Where are your pictures? What? Suddenly everyone is shy?

Sorry to post this again, but WTH I'm doing it. I've tried to talk Curtis into designing a 50+ superhero cape. That would be cool.

I also used the jersey indoors over the winter.

Mine has a problem in that it shrinks over time. Only in one place and that is round the Midriff.

This one is from about 5 years ago. I have lost about 20 pounds since then so I can ride faster.

Keep an eye on this forum. *The organizer is*cccorlew (http://www.bikeforums.net/member.php/75749-cccorlew). He has promised that when time permits in the near or maybe not so near future, he will organize another order.*
Posted before, but I will add it again. This was at the end of RAGBARI last year, and the first time I wore the jersey in public.

All you get is pics of those that have already been posted.
The idea of this thread is to try and cajole those new owners of the jerseys to post pics.

Well pardon me! It maybe a new idea but I still think it is a good one. No wonder Cranky thinks things aren't very friendly out here any more.

^ Lighten up Francis:twitchy:. Stap was just explaining his reason for a new thread for the jersey pics. Please post one if you have a jersey or do get in on Curtis next Kit offering, you won't regret it, I promise.
I'll post a pic in my 50+ jersey when I get the PICC out in a few weeks. I can't get the sleeve over the power port on my left arm. Glad you started a new jersey Pic thread Stapfam. Royal Marines are the greatest (next to U.S. Marines:innocent:)

I think that before Curtis sends out the 50+ Jerseys he should require that they post a picture of them wearing their 50+ jersey. That would guarantee us pictures.

Jersey's may be on the back burner for a while.
My last few days include:
Award for Bike Commuter of the Year
Torn calf muscle that made it hard to walk. It's not a tendon, so that's good news. Still had to cancel my Davis Double ride, which would mean CA a triple crown for me
Went to the SF Symphony
Came home to find the house burglarized. Lost Tricia's sentimental jewelry and two Mac laptops, which really messes me up.
Funny story: I ordered and paid for a new cross bike to commute on. Now I wish I hadn't, as I need the money to replace the computers. But, what's done is done. It came today, but the thrill of a new bike is lessened by the fact it is missing a part rendering it unrideable. The company is mailing it to me, but still...
I think I should go buy a lottery ticket. This kind of luck should be finished, right?

Curtis, congratulations on the award, good music at the symphony ... that's a major bummer about the calf and theft. There's still time to get your triple crown this year. Hang in there.

News of the burglary now makes me think I should've listened to the ADT sales pitch of the person who came to our door.

WE have an alarm and live in a good community. But burglaries are happening all around us. Seems people track when homeowners come and go and take advantage of their regular schedule. Some friends 4 doors down were burglarized during church. Sorry about the theft of your hard earned property. I hoe\pe they trip and fall down a flight of metal stairs.
Get healthy and enjoy that new bike ASAP! And of course nothing is real without pictures.

Sorry to hear about your burglary, Curtis. An unfortunate incident made worse by virtue of those laptops being Macs!:innocent:
