Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Restricting "New Posts" search only to certain forums

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is it possible to perform a search for new posts only on certain forums (for instance only in Touring forum and in Commuting forum or only in Subscribed forums)?

Could this function be implemented if now it is not available?

As a related question: "Only Include Subscribed Forums" check-mark from Bike Forums Spy is functional? On my computer, it is ignored.

Each forum has individual forum search, or you can use advanced and use the drop menu for limiters to an individual forum. Spy is an external plug in, and is what it is.

I know about the "Search Forum" tool, but that is for searching using keywords.

I was asking about "New Posts" search function (the "button" from the header of the forum, placed to the left of "Private Messages"; "FAQ", "Calendar" etc.):

Ah, OK, no, there is not a setting that will allow Spy to display only an individual forum, or the New Posts button to display only specific forums. That's a framework limitation of our software, and the more we customize vBulletin, the less stable it will be.
