When I was placing an order w/ Nashbar tonight, the telephone order clerk, said that all 3 companies work out of the same call center under the same owner. This was news to me. She said that they would all continue to remain independent, however.

Makes sense seeing as how all of their catalogs feature nearly the same stuff. Until now I figured they sourced the same cheap parts and tools... now I know the difference between Nashbar and Performance is the color red & blue and about %20 price. ;-) Don't me wrong, I buy a ton of stuff from Nashbar - mostly when they have sales and the like. I bought one of their little tool kits for $34.95 - deal of the century.

Nashbar and Performance joined up a few years back. Now I get to pay sales tax at both places :( Not sure whan supergo joined in though...

If you are a Team Performance member and Nashbar or Supergo have the same stuff but cheaper, Performance will price match it. You still get your free shipping upgrade and 10% TP points. Great deal.

Performance matches prices for anybody, but of course if your not a member you don't get the shipping upgrade. If you are lucky enough to have a Performance store in your area they will match prices as well even off the web.
