I did it!
I just registered for my first ever sprint tri in March - the Strawberry Fields Tri in Oxnard California. However, I've only been swimming in pools, so I need to get in the ocean soon, but I don't have a wetsuit yet. What wetsuit works best in So Cal? I don't want to spend more than I need to, but I'll pay what I must.
Are the low end Orca suits good enough? How cold is the water in March? Should I have sleeves or not?
Advice please.
I don't intend to leave the So Cal area - there's plenty of tri events around here.

Thanks,
Dennis

I have a QR fulljohn. I like it, but with the water being a little warmer donw south you could probably get away with a sleeveless, since you'll most likely do lake swim tris as well as Ocean.

I think the Orca should be good. There are a few reviews on the Predator2 and the Speedsuit sleeveless on trifuel.
