Recumbent - Earth Cycles Dragonflyer

Anyone know anything about this trike? I came across this Craig's list ad:

"Earth Cycles DRAGONFLYER recumbent 3-wheeler, tadpole style road/city cycle, 16 speeds, internal drum brakes, thumb operated gear shift levers,

I'm looking for a recumbent trike to commute with during my pregnancy. And who knows, maybe I'll fall in love, and want to stick with it. But for now I'm looking for something user-friendly, that won't be tippy, and won't lose a lot of value if I want to re-sell it in a year. Most of my work commute is about to be converted to protected bike lane, and most of my non-commute riding is down a MUP to museums and the beach and concerts downtown. Thoughts?

As far as I know, the Dragonflyer is a well made trike. I have a couple of Earth Cycles Sunset lowracers and found them to be well made and well thought out.

It appears to have rear suspension, that's a plus. Especially riding while pregnant.

Sorry about that, ebartom. I appear to have picked that up before you did. I just broke my arm in a fall on the North Branch Trail, and I was looking for a bike to stay riding while I heal, plus use later when I need to commute and just don't feel like doing as much work. It seemed like far too much of a deal to pass up.

I hope you still find a bike for you while you're pregnant! At least know the bike got a good home.

Ah, bummer! Well, enjoy it! And if you're healed in a month or two and want to "rent it out" or something, let me know. It's really September, October, November that I'll be worrying the most about balance and such.

1.5 miles is so easy on a bike, and really kind of annoying by bus or foot or car (where I would have to park a half mile away anyway).
i'll be sad if / when I have to give up the bike ride!
