So the story starts off about 6 years ago. I start workiong as a messenger and buy my first very used fixed frame. The frame lasts a year or so and then the chainstay breaks. I have a friend at IF cut some scrap tubing and mend my frame the best that he can. I rode the it for a few more weeks really careful like, so as not to die while working. Funny thing is that it never broke. I buy a Basso and give Test Bike to a friend who wants to build it up but never does. So over the weekend Frank calls me up and tells me he never used Test Bike and he was wondering if I want it back. So now I am happy because I just ordered a coaster 700c wheel and I am just going to cobble up my version of a Little 500 bike. I am keeping the paint job because I painted it purple and made all the scratches myself so there is nothing but pride in the shape it is in. I'll post more when it's finished.

wow that back chain stay bar does look really thin. I can see why it would break. I do like the idea of keeping all the scratches on it, gives the bike charachter.

It's why I am sticking with the coaster brake.
