I can't believe I'm posting in the Roadie forum! Me, Mr. MTB. First time for everything I guess!:) But with the trails being muddy so much I'm dying to get out and ride.
I've got a Schwinn Le Tour, (from the 80's), and believe it or not it still has the original tires on it. Never had a flat and they aren't brittle but I'm a little afraid to ride it. It's always been stored inside, no sunlight. Should I replace the tires? Also the last time I rode it, the ride seemed extremely harsh. Maybe because I'm used to my FS mountain bike. But I was wondering if there are any tires that would make the ride a little less rigid. Thanks
I feel like a rookie again...:)
