Hi everyone!
My name's Anthony and I live in Foothill Ranch, CA (south Orange County). I recently got back into bicycling after a 13 year hiatus. I got into a pretty bad accident that left some pretty bad second degree burns all over my body. Fast forward to a few months ago; my girlfriend decides she wants a bike and gets one. The second I got on I fell in love. Right away I bought a 2010 Specialized Crosstrail and started practicing. The bike was too large for me, but I made due as I was learning about components and shifting.
I've been lurking on this forum ever since I got back into bicycling and it has helped me a lot (as well as reddit.com/r/bicycling). I sold my Crosstrail and picked up this Craigslist gem: a 2010 Gary Fisher Wingra. The bike is the correct fitment and rides like a dream. Also came with a computer, headlight, flat bar extensions and a Bontrager SSR Aero front wheel with 23c tire (I plan on matching the rear very soon).
Looking forward to learning more about bicycles, upgrading my bike and getting to know you guys!
Anyone in Orange County, feel free to message me! Especially hybrid owners, so I can keep up with you guys on the road ;)
