so i sent back my lock a while ago, came back from christmas break to find my new one waiting for me. as i was waking up this morning, i heard the door ring. went downstairs to find lock #2. this happen to anyone else? it almost makes up for it...

why dont you give that one to me :D my replacement krypto broke the 2nd time i went to use it. basically, the entire U part of the lock is separated from the the base and there's some kind of washer rattling loose inside. so i went back to the crappy american lock i bought for the interim.

anyone else have this problem?

i am having a hard time with the new keys. they don't go in easy, and it's difficult to find the spot in the chamber that opens and closes the lock. maybe i'm just not used to them yet, but i've had it for more than a week now.

that looks like hte molly lock? no.. what they sent me was the EV-Disc Short lock (sans chain):

wait a minute, now you got two locks, and i haven't even recieved the paid postage to send in my old lock. Just to make sure, you guys got the paid postage through an attachment in your e-mail, right?

In email, they send you a UPS shipping label that you have to print and slap onto the box you're shipping the lock back in.

yup, that's what i got, too. it's the same lock as turd pictured. i haven't had any problems with mine so far, but i've only had it for a week.

Yup, that's what I got, too. My u-lock has been fine, too. No problems with my stuff.

Whoever started the rumor about molly locks was an idiot.

i got an email, but there wasnt a shipping label...no attachment, just a few words...

that's the initial email acknowledging your claim
the actual label should follow in it's own message within a week or so
i'm so lazy it took me a month after i got the label to actually pack and ship my lock
what's the turnaround time on these running? shipping from me to them took 3 days (they received it 12/30)
