After getting two punctures I took off the rim tape and discovered a part of the rim around the spoke hole had cracked and fallen off. I can also see small cracks appearing around the other spoke holes. Should I get a new rim or is there any way to stop the crack puncturing my tube,

That rim is history . Replace it as soon as possible.

It's a little hard to tell from the photos, but it looks to me like a double-walled rim with manufacturing defects where the holes were pierced in the inner wall where the rim strip goes, not cracks in the nipple seating area induced by spoke tension against the other wall. Is any cracking visible around the nipples on the spoke side of the rim? I would expect stress cracking to be around the spoke heads not in the rim strip area. The first phot looks like a mis-drilled hole, the second like a poorly-punched one. I think some close scrutiny with a magnifier and some strong light is in order.

I'm with dsb, it looks poorly made but a good rim tape like Velox should keep you from having flats because of the holes on the inner wall.

With dsb as well, if the cracking was on the outside, emanatinng from the spoke hole then it's a scrap, but from the pictures, it just looks like a manufacturing defect that won't get any worse with age / use; check on it when ever you have have a flat / change the tire, but would be surprised if the 'cracks' get any bigger.

Very common with el cheapo rims....
Just use thick and wide rim tape - Velox for example.
