Introductions - One More in NJ

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Back into road cycling after a brief (seems like it to me...) 30 year layoff. Started canal/rail path cycling about 7 years ago, mtn. bike (Titus Racer-X) 3 years ago, and now a road bike (Trek 2300).
Have ridden mtn. bike in many area of NJ and in NC, OH, CO and OH. Been riding road since Sept., mostly on club rides in Western NJ (Hunterdon, etc. - beautiful area to ride). Looking forward to riding in home state of Ohio, near daughter's college.
Trying to ride enough to be a good "B" club rider.

Re: Hunterdon County
Beautiful riding country. I like riding from Belvidere to Frenchtown and down to Washington's Crossing.

If you aspire to B riding, you will find some interesting ride options in your area on the Central Bucks Bike Club web site, www.cbbikeclub.org, in the club's cue sheet archive. There are some real hilly challenges!

Which part of Western Hunterdon County do you live in? (Annandale for me.) Welcome to the forums.
lrzipris - Thanks for the Bucks County tip - I plan to work my way west, and I know BC is noted for great rides.
KonaRider24 - I actually live a couple counties to the east. I don't particularly like to ride in the traffic around here, but my work commute is great - 5 minutes. I rode northern Somerset County yesterday. Pretty area, but still a bit crowded. Will stick with Western NJ/Eastern PA for my longer, weekend, rides. Annandale is a great area for both mtn. (Round Valley) and road riding.

I know Annandale really well on a mtb and can show you better trails than Round Valley once Summer comes and isn't really busy at all. I live in NH from Sept-late december and from Febuary to Mid May, the rest of the time, I live in Annandale NJ.
