Hi all, I found this forum by chance just googling Lincoln Imp and found an article about them, I got mine years ago a a teenager and still have it much to my children's disgust. I'll be honest I was supposed to be helping my wife check out specs for a new bike, but I was bored while she was looking other things up on the web.
About me: As a teenager got into cycling, not racing, just the opportunity to be independent, and that has pretty much remained, but university then family life sort of restricted opportunities, time moves on children grow and the chance to get out on a bike becomes much easier.
I have been known to strip down a bottom bracket in a car park in Jedburgh, because there was a problem with it and rebuild it with gun grease because it was all we could get ( no bike shop) and we had to get to a specific place by bike that evening.
Dreams: have this silly idea of when I retire going for a very long bike ride, round the world maybe, well we can always dream!
