Foo - They have names!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Not that they'll ever show up when they're called, but my wife finally sorted through the suggestions (thanks, everyone, for your thoughtfulness and originality). She decided what we would call the critters.
Meet Mango and Pumpkin: (Pumpkin on the left, Mango on the right)

Well obviously Mango is the fluffier one.

You need to at least give them a last name, too. Cats have complex names, and since you didn't go with Frick and Frack, you should at least use Katzenjammer. ;)

Well if you think of a Mango & a Pumpkin as colors (orange) then it could be boys names.

I do like the names Mango & Pumpkin for them.
I think Mango and Pumpkin can be boy names :) . Cute kitties!
Have you perused the "Bathtub Adventures' thread mayhaps? You may have to rescind the kitteh names due to moral terpitude on the part of their nominal progenitor.

I don't know about that. It was well within the orange color scheme.

I will bow to your superior wisdom, and henceforth refer to them as "Mango Foo" and "Pumpkin Foo".
As to telling them apart... yeah, it's tough. Mango, however, has dark interior to his nostrils. Pumpkin's are pink. OTOH, can you imagine how tough it is to look inside a squirming kitten's nose?

That might be tonight. They're wrassling in the other room and raising a ruckus. Kids will be kids.

Those kitties are awesome.
I had a male cat named Pumpkin once, perfectly acceptable name for a boy cat. Well, his full name was Rusty Pumpkin but we always called him Pumpkin.

Whereas skijor's parents can't tell him at all from his good twin rojiks. They just call them both, "hey you".

Several years ago we stopped by Petsmart at a big pet adoption day and we saw two long hair orange tabby kitten brothers, looking just like these guys. We were holding them for a while and they were soooo sweet. If we didn't already have two cats we would have adopted them. They were named Frick and Frack. We still talk about them sometimes. I hope they got a nice home.

I wonder same about my smaller dog's siblings, Rex and Rumble. And if they'd recognize each other as sibs if they were to somehow meet up in a few years. They were rescues shipped up to WI from a KY shelter.

I can relate...when Ziggy was younger every time I would try to take a nap he'd go rooting thru my hair apparently looking for a nipple.
253090
Which of course made naps difficult. I took to wearing a hat to thwart him, but he'd try to out wait me. I am somewhat proud to be able to out-nap a cat.

BTW, nothing wrong with Pumpkin as a name - I had orange tabby with 6 toes named Punkin who lived to be 17.

Hmmm... new rule: the correct number of pets in a house is N+2.
As in: http://www.thecatshouse.com/ (click on "A Typical Night")
It wasn't until just a couple years ago that I witnessed how good it is to have two critters rather than just one. I had had a dog before. Two is more work in one way. But less in another. They have each other and burn off energy that way in part. I was fortunate to get the second dog (from an animal sanctuary) largely because I was the only applicant [of eight!] that said the new pup would be for a companion to another dog. So kudos to you for keeping the sibs together :)
Do they tear around in the wee hours?

Do they tear around in the wee hours?
You bet. 3AM and they start raising a ruckus in the other room. Too bad I don't get up until 4:30 (started work at 6AM this morning. Ugh.)
Actually, they're wrestling on the floor around my feet right now. They're chasing each other's tail. :)
