Not sure how much I will post here, but since I've been reading for awhile, I figured that I would finally join in.
I've been cycling since I rode to school in the 4th grade back in L.A. I biked regularly through college then left it for awhile while I got into running, but an inflamed ITB in my knee put me back into a sport with less impact a decade back. My neighbor sold me an '84 Torpado Super Strada on which I commuted to work in Fort Collins, CO. I have since moved on to a Univega Modo-Vincere and now a Jamis Eclipse which I picked up real cheap here in the Portland area.
Love long rolling rides through the vineyards, or climbing the west hills. Feel like I'm finally back in decent shape, and darn it, gonna stay that way.
Thanks for all the great information you have provided me on this site.
