Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help.
I need to get a new left shifter, I currently have the Shimano 105, 9 speed, triple chain ring ones on my bike.
I cannot 9 speed shifters in any bike shops, only 10 speed ones. Does anyone know if I can use the 10 speed left triple shifter on my bike???
Thanks for any help you can give!!

Yes, any triple left shifter will work. Might not look like the right, but it'll work.

What is wrong with your shifter? I have fixed those 105 style brifters with nothing more than a big wash of WD-40 while working the mechanism and then lubing with some good lubricant.
I had one that was completely locked up and would not function at all. When I was done with it, it worked like new.

Have you tried BikeWagon.COM? Not the cheapest, but free shipping. Just the left. Look in Parts, shifters/brake levers, and drill down on road bike category. $85. 5 left in stock.

Or feel the same, which I'd probably find annoying.

Thanks for all the help guys. Bobotech I have taken my bike to three different bike mechanics and they all thought it was a couble shifter, which i'm sure it is not, as there are not enough clicks so I can only use two of the chain rings.
Thanksgyozadude (http://www.bikeforums.net/member.php/233790-gyozadude) but i think this is the 10 speed one.
