For some reason it's always crap songs that get stuck in my head when I'm riding. When I try to shake it & think of a good tune, the crap song just comes right on back.

I was recently given a Queen collection, soof course there's Bicycle Race.
I want to ride my bicycle,
I want to ride my bike.
I want to ride my bicycle,
I want to ride it where I like.

Bad Brains - Big Takeover
taking the alleys through Uptown, smelling the dinner time meals, and wishing these moments were forever
Big Black - Bad Penny
In traffic, rush hour. Nuff said.
Interpol - C'mere
for chilly days downtown, riding solo with warm vapor wrapping around my neck.
Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds
for the early, early mornings of forgetting work was waiting and the ride took me far south, beyond Monroe and Canal
Stones, Can't you hear me knocking. has a killer beat. . . .
but then I'm a dinosaur retrogrouch and its period correct.
Marty
Song 2 - Blur. The only problem is it's really short, so by the time a long ride is over you're sick of it!

downer - last time (from the series Down)
ironmaiden - run to the hills
The first song on NWDV where cedric is racing. Some hiphop song I actually LIKE. Don't know the name though, but that song gets me pumped.

on those days when the cars wont back off, I find Rock and Roll Pizzeria by Less Than Jake in my head, "...with a smile on my face and my middle finger up..."
But usually the song I most commonly find stuck in my head is Two Step by Dave Matthews something about that driving rythm in the song.
Anything Hill Top Hoods
Cedric Gracia's NWDV song
AC/DC
and other Rock songs, they really get you pumped up to do some big sh!t on a bike.
You get what you give - New Radicals

"take me home country roads" John Denver, "the wall"(any and or all of it) Pink Flloyd, "you were it"
Willie Nelson, "ch'io mi scordi di te...non tmer, amato bene" W.A. Mozart

Right now, though, I can't that Direct TV NFL game song commercial jingle out of my head, it's really catchy.
"I never thought I'ld have the juice to say
hey Butkus! Come watch the Bears!"
ANybody know their musical showtunes? I'm sure the tune is from some musical, kind of ironic they'ld take a musical tune, complete with dancing Superfans, change the words around, and use it to advertise football.

For awhile Queen's 'Bicylce Race' adorned my answering machine. Don't listen to music while riding, but that tune would be the one if I did.

Mountain Song- Jane's Addiction
"I was comin' down the mountain"
I've got a little boy at home, so I watch alot of children's tv. The song that gets stuck in my head the most is that stooopid music from "Dora the explorer". I swear, when that happens, I feel like performing exploratory surgery on my melon with my multitool at the side of the road just to make it stop.
