Finally ordered my 520 today! That is the last bike I wanted. Got a bike for about every need now. MTB, road bike, around town bike and now a touring bike. I am done, do you hear me!!!

What about classic/vintage ? You have to get something along those lines to be complete.

Oh yea. Short trips first but before I get too old I want to do a real trip.

Since you have different styles of bicycles, which style would you choose if you could only have one for general biking? Would it end up being closer to a hybrid or a touring bike or something more specialized like a road or mountain bike?

My first bike was a MTB because I thought I wanted to ride off road more. But I actually found myself riding more on the road. I can leave from my house to ride on the road. To ride trails, I have to drive somewhere. If I had to choose just one it would be the road bike.

Just chiming in about the 520. I took my 2012 520 cross country from March 2 - May 2nd and couldn't of been happier w/ the bike. Not a single problem with it and I saw 3-4 other 520's on the road. The LHT is almost equivalent, but let's face it, nowhere near as pretty of a bicycle.
