Bicycle Mechanics - Park Tools difference?

What's the difference between a Park Tools PSC 9 vs. PSC 10?

There was an article that shows a DIY on how to upgrade the PSC 9 to PSC10 for free.. but that site is down. :(

Any ideas?

i'm thinking which to choose.. park tools psc 10 or feedback pro ultralight

The Parks are the world standard so they are never a mistake. However, I have a Feedback Sports Ultimate from way before that name was developed. Mine has been relatively easy to use and store but I'm not nuts about the clamp which has a slip clutch and a tension knob. Getting the bike fixed in place sometimes takes three hands. Release is easy and the clamp is solid and secure once tightened.

I think you would be happy with either.

For what it's worth, the Park clamp on the 10 is really well designed: Easy to clamp and adjust with one hand, virtually fool proof as far as over-tightening (you'd really have to be absolutely un-thinking and clueless to over clamp something and even then, I really wonder if you could damage something with the clamp), plus just the shape of the clamp jaw and padding just seem to make it impossible to damage, for instance, a carbon fiber seat post. It's super easy to use on most top and seat tubes too.

I don't know about the other brand, but if there's any question on how well the clamp may work, I frankly can't think of an improvement you could make on the Park clamp.

I'll vote for the Park stands too. Every shop I've worked in uses them. I have three at home. Very sturdy, easy to manipulate and replacement parts are readily available. Andy.

Nice design on those Park stands. I like the gussets where the feet join the upright tube. Keeps the assembly strong and stiff without too much weight penalty.

Weight- Shops order Park stands in the begining of the season with a largr parts order. Shipping is covered by the suplier (given the sixe of order) although usually direct from Park. Andy
