Foo - Brag about your city ... succinctly

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Let's hear it. What is the best thing about your city ... in 7 words or less :twitchy:
Mine - 'great bike trails along the river.'
My wife's description - 'Encourages the arts. Close to everything. Parks.'

Great, great system of bike trails; probably the worst selection of bikes I have seen on CL . . .
You can't have it all.

Great trails everywhere, comfortable weather (for me at least) 95% of the time, tons of bikes, good public transit, mostly friendly people, very art-supportive, nice parks, mountains, and lots of water, both salt and fresh.

Small, but still has everything I need.
Near the ocean, near the mountains....nice!

You guys are both lucky that the Foo police disbanded a few years back. Since you exceeded the 7 words, I will selectively alter your descriptions on your behalf.
bikemig - 'great system of roadways for hummers'.
Lamplight - 'landscape dotted with oil refineries'
For the rest of you ... keep it to 7 words, or suffer the wrath of my sarcasm.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure you could have by dropping the first 3 words. Let's see:
Indy_Rider - "neighborhood built on old garbage dump".
See, I managed that one in 6 words

Rural, low traffic roads; mountains and lakes.
Small, much potential. Failure to capitalize.

I'm in both Rural Retreat and Wytheville (10 mins apart). They're very different than Roanoke. Wytheville has enormous potential, being at an intersection of two interstates. One can be anywhere on the east coast and out to the Mississippi in roughly 12-13 hours from here. It's almost perfectly located as a business hub, but it seems like the town/county runs people off, or people don't see the potential.
I just want more clients who want me to design buildings.

I agree with all the points except public transit. Although compared to some other cities, specially SoCal, that is true. In general it still kind of sucks.
