After looking at the picture thread for all the hybrid rides I notice a lot of fenders out there. I think they are pretty cool and the functionality doesn't have to be explained.

On that note, can someone recommend a nice set for the Trek 7100 model?

(Are they easy to install?)

Links would be fabulous.

I have a pair of Bontrager Interchange Nebulas on my 7.4 FX and like them a lot. I wanted something that would I could quickly take off and put back on since I only use them when pulling my son's trailer. After the initial install, they go on and off in literally seconds. There are probably better solutions if you don't want a quick release solution.

Hmm... never thought about taking them on/off but that brings more questions. lol Why would you take them off? Reduce weight? Personal preference?

Just curious... I'm still debating what to do.

Mostly personal preference I suppose. I mean they do add a little weight and drag, but not likely enough to matter. They also tend to make a bit of when hitting bumps or on not so smooth roads. I guess for me I only really need the to keep crap out of my sons trailer, so, if given the option I would rather not have them on for a ride like I did today, 32 miles all dry pavement.
