Mine never seems to be up. My zipper, that is. I used to remember to zip up, but now, not so much. Apparently there is a disturbance in the go, zip, wash process. I skip the zip!

If you're getting old enough that you're forgetting to zip....my uncle used to say "Dead men don't fall out of windows"

<cough>huge gut<cough>

I know this personally.

Plus I get a perverse kick out of 20 somethings saying "Hey, GrandDad! High Cotton!"

Did I just click into the 50+ forum?

I'm so confused...

Weird, the last few days I've been having the same problem. I'm not forgetting to zip, my zipper just gradually works its way down. These particular pants have always done this a little, but lately the zipper's been moving farther down than in the past. Instead of buying new jeans, I put a rubber band through the zipper hole and looped it around the button at the waist band. Troublesome, but free.

Start worrying when you start forgetting to unzip. :)

I keep having this problem with a pair of carhartts, I think it's because the zipper area is tighter than the waist.

I have a pair of pants from TheNorthFace in which the zipper zips down to close. There was a very good reason for it. I can't recall what it was.

I think you like to walk around flashing people and then pretending you didn't know.

They are hiking pants. So it isn't for flashing. Just ventilation.

Maybe I should have all my zippers re-installed upside down. Or replace the zippers with velcro - which at least has a chance of closing on its own.

Pretending I didn't know I liked it?
