Hi people, im a massive noob thinking about getting a conversion kit, iv done some internet research and priced up a few things and heres what iv come up with.... If i get a 36v 750w rear brushless motor kit and 4 12v 20ah batteries then i should be able to go about 20-25mph and a distance of about 20-30 miles, is this correct?? Also would i be better off with a 1000w motor? Or less/more amp batteries? I know if i take 4 12 volt batteries it makes 48 volts is this enough?? Basically any advice on what iv just said on the above would be greatly appreciated thankyou.

On 36v and 20Ah batteries, you'll get 20 mph max (probably closer to 18).
And about 15 miles depending on how much you pedal.
(if the controller will allow 48v, then you'll probably get 21mph top speed and a 20 mile range - no pedaling)

You would have to tell us what your terrain is and how you are going to use the bike. Cargo, commuting, etc.

If you are not heavy probably you will be able to get 25 mph and 20 miles before recharge. On the flat...

But be careful how you will connect the batteries.
