#1 should be considering his fortunes, and was hit by another cyclist rather than a motor vehicle. I'm sure a few of the following motorists might have seen some amusement on that collision.

If you want insane, I provided a link, though not cyclist related, it still involves two wheels.

After watching this video, the OP's video will be easier to watch.
Note: the guy does make it to the end of the video.

Every bicycling safety video needs a music track. "Yakety Sax" is by far the best. http://youtu.be/rVS3QqrXhD8

A major university did a study of safety videos. By playing Yakety Sax in the background, information retention was increased by 63%. Three Stooges style sound effects are also helpful.

Do you have a citation for this? I'd like to read the study. We do a lot of training using multimedia and are always looking to improve knowledge transfer.

Thanks

Indeed. Some of us are 45 year veterans of the traffic wars. This type of video isn't posted to educate. Anyone who's here pretty knows how to avoid getting squished. This isn't the Electronics & gadget forum, so showing off yer Go-Pro isn't the point. Must be to entertain. This is why we need the soundtrack.

The maker of the video actually criticized another rider's apparel. Not useful. If he's cold, he'll be the first to know. No need to tell him. The poor kid who got clobbered by the recumbent learned to look out for traffic. Had we a Three Stooges style crash sound followed by tweeting bird noises, the lesson would have sunk in.

And recumbents are harder to see- low profile and all that.

Those bad decisions in the video are pretty mild compared with what I'm used to seeing. But it is a very good video. I'll find out how to subscribe to the series.

Been watching all these videos off and on today, great stuff. Wish I could have seen these videos when cycling in the city years ago. I just tried to imitate the bike messengers.... stupid of me... lol

Watching the last incident it seems to me the T-bone collision required two unsafe cyclists.
