June is right around the corner. Lets have fun this month and ride. Commute to work, ride after work, or whenever.... have fun!
Remember to stay hydrated!
Whos in for this month?
Iron Chef: 300 miles (have to keep it on the low side.... traveling 2 1/2 weeks in June for work :( )
I'm in for another 350. I don't know if I'll be able to get out as frequently as I did in May, but at least one of June's rides (the TdC) will be as close to 100 as I can manage, so that'll go a long way toward the total.

Hoping to push it up to 400 for may with a ride later today, so I'm going to shoot for 400 in June.
Going to try for 250 in June...

I need a goal this month so I'll use this venue and hop on the wagon.
1240mi ideally, 1000mi realistically.
With 20something mi commute in and new 29.2 route back plus either 60mi solo rides during weekend or adding more miles during week visiting fam I should be good. There's no rest for the wicked. ( will manage court time to cross train on day off.)
Eye of the Tiger! ;)
Chef,
Put me down for 400 in June.
Thanks for doing this each month.

No problem. Gotta keep us on target!
I'm in. Had 300 as my goal for May and did 400 but I'm not sure how much I'll get out in June. So I'll do the same, goal of 300 and shooting for 400.

I'll be bold and shoot for 600 again this month. 5 weekends only one of which I'll be backpacking with the Scouts. Should be able to reach this goal.

Count me in. I should be back on a road bike very soon. I nearly did 300 miles in May. So with the fact I am going to do a Metric Century on June 23...
I think I will shoot for 350 miles for June.

Mark me down for 350... I am at 377 for May so far with some plans for later today, so I could potentially hit 400 but I do have some business travel to accommodate this month.

I'm not sure how many miles I should shoot for this month, so I'll play it safe, say 200, and hope to blow that out of the water. But I have wiggle room, and I may use it to go hiking.

June is looking like a great month for miles!!!!!!!!! Good luck all!

Can I just try for 1 mile? (If I pass it I lose, or would I win?)
I mean according to Endomondo I am averaging just over 500 miles a month for the last 3 months (535.67), and May hasn't ended yet...
I feel like being lazy in June.

^wow, so a century+ a day in 98degree heat? And only one day of rest every 8th day? Have anything more concrete than a google DOC, like a TdF result?
Hook a sister up with that juice, sweetheart ;)

Put me down for 200 miles. It's my first time!
While I certainly had bigger annual goals on Jan 1 I'll take what I can and that's a decent number to stay motivated.
Let's do this!

Hook a sister up with that juice, sweetheartConcrete proof? Um, other than the road surface beneath my tires, nothing but my tired muscles, my tanned skin/sunburn and my word - none of which probably do it for anyone but me. Then again, I've been "documenting" the self-challenge relating to this series of rides here: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/813115-Summertime-s-coming-and-**the-mind**-is-challenging-me-again I don't think any of the rides have been done in 98F degree heat - yet. But, I've still got 70 days to go with this 100 Imperial Centuries in 106-110 days challenge, so it'll probably happen at some point.
As for "juice", easy. Get bored. Have lots of time on your hands but no money. Fill the time with riding to escape the boredom.

Preaching to the choir lol
Even though I passed my goal by over 100 miles, I am sicking to 200 for June as work is taking me out of town a lot. So 200 for June and hope to exceed!!!!

Even with rain and traveling I managed a bit over 350 last month. This month will have some trips but I should only lose maybe 5,6 days to driving. I think I'll use 350 as a goal but hope for 400. If I find a fair amount of hills I'll be really happy with 350.
I got off to a decent start, 30.2 miles this morning in some really nice New England june weather!

This was the first month that I have not ridden on the first day of the month. Kinda shocking. Legs are tired and I didnt feel like riding today. Tomorrow will be a 50 miler with a lot of climbing.

Great goal! All you need to do is post how many miles each ride is. Example:
6-1: 15 miles.
month to date: 15 miles.
This is a real fun way to get involved, stay accountable, and have fun too!

I'll aim for 325 km again this month.

pretty damn good actually. Climbing was easier then last time, I am recovering faster after the climbs, climbing a little faster (still
very much slow) and not intimidated now. We did religious hill too. We actually went out of the way to go down it, ride past it a little and then go up it. We finished with somewhere around 4500 feet of climbing according to my GPS. It was a lot of fun.

Like I once told an English prof once during a debate on using public flogging for crime, I'd rather suffer in silence. Self-mastery needs no audience.
I'll ride with the motley crue soon enough :D

I second that.
90'/mile for 50 miles Is an accomplishment a lot of folks would like to have under their belt.
well done sir, well done indeed.
I'd like to do this. I'm new and still getting used to a saddle so I didn't do a lot last month. I'm hoping that a goal of 200 is the right number. Hope to do more.
6-1: 15 mi
mtd: 15mi.

First post for me guys! A little background. I started off weighing 337 pounds and bought a Raleigh Talus 8.0 to exercise. I ride on and off road when I can. Now I'm down to 272 pounds and still going strong. I'd like to ride at least 300 miles this month and I think I can do more than that. I started off pretty good and did 40 miles between today and yesterday.

Got close to 1000 miles last month. This month I'm going to do it. 1000 miles and 2 100 miles within the month. As of today not counting the days may took out of the week I have 250km on the clock already.
