This is a "Lead by Example" grass roots effort to promote bicycle safety and awareness. The magnet we have created is a visual display for your car or truck. Our hope is that it will become a nationally recognized symbol promoting bicycle safety.

Driver who display the BFV emblem on their vehicles are asked to become ambassadors of good will for the cycling community at large. By displaying the BFV symbol on your vehicle you tell other drivers that you respect the rights of cyclists and you treat them with courtesy whenever you encounter them along the road. The good example you set will have a positive influence on other drivers.

The magnet is a 7" x 5" white oval with a black image. The image is a stylize road bike in the center with the BFV logo and the words "Bicycle Friendly Vehicle" printed at the bottom of the oval.

If you have interest you can see the magnet at our website www.bicyclefriendlyvehicle.com This is a new website and it will take us a little longer to fully develope it and give it the polished look.

Where does the money go? That plus the fact that your magnet is a picture of a bike with some small lettering on it. Hardly something that would rate a second glance.
