Hi all. I have most of my bike ordered and just a few final details remaining.... Pake Rum runner frame and pake straight blade forks. From what I understand I need a front brake with 39-49mm reach. Scrod has Dia Compe BRS-100 but not available in silver atm.

I'm looking for something fairly inexpensive. Are the options pretty open for correct mounting hardware? Would either of these Tekro: R350, R320 mount correctly & do most road type brakes share the same mounting hardware etc?

All of those would work. I had R350's on my old Pake Straight Blade fork and they worked fine. However, I would go with the R530's because of the cartridge pad holders.

thanks! I did notice the cartridge pads but I wasn't really clear on how they work...

Putting a front brake on my pake fork was annoying, needed hella spacers. The drill hole was just uneven (not sure if that's on all, or just happen to be mine).

Oh yes! I knew there was something I was forgetting. You're going to need two of those washers, like hj.paul7 mentioned.

Off topic, but how do you like that tektro brake caliper? Currently have a crap Origin8 one on mine.

The one I have now (R740), or the R350? The R350 worked just fine, the only reason I changed to the R740 was because it was a spare my dad had lying around. However, the R740 seems to have a little bit more stopping power, but the R350 worked great as well.

Thanks all, I went with the 530. Can anyone point me in the right direction for required washers??
