That's just insane!

Was it a daylight robbery while she wasn't home?

Man those thieves were brazen.

My bike was recently stolen. I have craigslist search agents that alert me anytime a Motobecane is listed in southern california areas. Im checking eBay auctions. I listed my bikes info on bike registry sites. Passed out a few flyers at local pawn ships and businesses that sell used bikes. Maybe i'll get lucky. But I got a good replacement bike for now.

I tweeted my bike info/serial number, using hashtags like #stolen #stolenbike

Homeowners is paying 50% of replacement after deductible...so depending on deductible....out of pocket could still be steep.

Yes...during day burglary while she was at work.

Police have been contacted and report taken.

She says the bike was $2500 (tho I don't know as from her description it is bone stock and on Trek site 2.3 in 2009 listed for about $1900). Pic I've seen it has the stock rims. she has no goodies of it or i'd post
