After 2 schwinn road conversions and an IRO, I have gotten ahold of a late 70's Gitane track frame. I have wanted an true track frame for awhile but couldn't see spending alot on one. I beat my bikes into the gound and something super nice would be a waste. So now i need a set of wheels and i'll have a bike that i'll keep for longer than 6 months

that's a real nice looking frame, take care of that.

the IRO wasn't a track frame?

Funnily enough, I have that same x-mas themed bike photo in my inbox. If it hadn't been too big (it's a 60cm, right?), I would've taken it.

Its a small world. The IRO is almost a track bike. I wanted steeper geometry. Plus this has a 1" headtube so i can use my nitto track stem and bars. Im riding a 63cm road bike frame now so i figure this bike will fit perfect.
