Mountain Biking - Genesis v2100 mod Plans

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was planning on getting a rockshox front 100mm travel fork with clickers(what us snowmachiners say for adjustable shocks) some better grips and I looked at the rear stock suspension, the shock has a decent amount of travel on it just the spring looks like they were being cheap and didn't put a spring with the full travel on it, so I'll just try to find a bigger spring somewhere. Sound good?

I PM'd you a link to a discussion on another forum about modding your model bike. It might be helpful to you.
Good luck on the modding. I love to change things up. My friends are often bemused over my inability to go even one month on the same bike without changing something, maybe even the frame.

Oh. Had no idea there was a limit imposed. It's there to foil the spammers, I guess.
So my current #1 ride, btw, is a four or five (or more?) year-old 26er hardtail frame from Gary Fisher onto which I've mounted a Surly Instigator fork (also rigid). So I am way out of step with a 26er rigid. LOL! But at least I'm running it 1x9, and that keeps me trendy.
