I just got done building this Schwinn SS. I got a good deal on most of the parts and had some free time. I'm thinking of possibly selling the bike. I'm interested as to what people here think a good price point. I'm thinking of asking $200 but am wondering if maybe I should ask for more I'm not real up on current SS prices. Everything works it rides great and has a nice 700c wheels with good tires new chain and bar tape.

If wheels matched, $200 might work (note, would not work here, even if wheels matched).

I would work on those pics. Need a better contrast on the background, and something that does not give the pic a yellow tint. It really makes the bike look kind of blah. Is it a setting on the camera, the time of day/lighting? I do not know. (I see I need to clean the front edge of that porch floor myself).

As a reference, here is one I am marketing right now. More attractive lug work, chrome stays with chrome Simplex DO, original saddle and MAFAC brakes with hoods, matching alloy wheelsets. Price? Lower than yours.

As it is, $200 would be high even where I live. The mismatched wheels really hurt, makes it look like a bar bike thrown together from random stuff.

I really like what you did with this old Jeunet making it into SS yet keeping most of the original look and feel of the bike.

Thanks, I was drawn to the chrome stays and rear drop out. I think they really look good with the white bike. Since the Simplex plastic FD was cracked (aren't they all), I decided to turn it into a SS.

Well the bike did sell for $200 fairly easy. Also it does look a lot better outdoors in the daylight.

wrk101 Jeunet is still much better looking but the Jeunet 620 with the chrome simplex front and rear is about the best looking of the boom era bikes.

I have Jeunet 620 built up as my current daily rider and I love the look and feel of the bike with modern wheels despite the bad paint. It rides better than most of my friends modern bikes costing a four or five times as much.
