I am considering a job offer in Mount Hope, WV right by Beckley, WV. I am coming from Chicago.
I was curious what the cycling scene was like. It seems there are some nice rural mountain road riding (I have a nice carbon bike with a 50-34 crank and 11-28 cogs). I lived in Athens, Ga for a year and did some rides in the N. Ga mountains around Dahlonega and Cleaveland. Are there any groups around Beckley. Can anyone tell me anything?
