Hi yall noob here,
i recently got a good deal on a new 2004 specialized FSR. but after a few rides i have decided that the fox float r air rear shock is not hard enough for my weight. so i want to know my options on a coil shock, but how can i find out what will fit my bike before i buy?

You need to find the stroke and the i2i (eye to eye) of the shock. It should be on the specialized web site. Then make sure you buy a shock the same size.

Should be a 6.5" i2i if not mistaken. Just measure the thing!

If you go to the Fox Suspension website they should have a sizing chart.
