hey guys, i didnt know where else to ask this, so here goes. i was at the local co-op today and i got some "spokes" from a carbon fiber wheel, and i want to make something out of them, does anyone know if it is possible to bend these "spokes", and if so how? thanks alot! matt

Are you talking about pre-preg carbon fibre, or carbon fibre that's already set (dry)? Cured carbon fibre isn't going to bend much before it shatters...

carbon fiber!=ductile
how do you figure? or are you talking about before it is sealed?
it's not ductile. brittle, hence the catastropihic failure mode without deformation beforehand.
perhaps you didn't catch the meaning of the ! in front of the =.

make a christmas ornament, not much else you can do. Carbon is not like steel
