I know its a personal thing, but I was looking for suggestions and pics of bar ends for a Coda Sport.

Thanks in advance.

I can post a pic later tonight if you really want to see them, but I have the Ergon GP5 bar ends on my '05 Coda. They look funny and I make cracks about my bike having broad shoulders. They can also be a bit of a space hog on the bike racks where I work, but no one has left me a nasty note... yet. They are comfortable, BUT... they don't stay still. Before buying them I read reviews where folks had a hard time tightening the ends and I thought they might not have been putting enough "oomph" into the install, but they are right. The dang bar ends just don't stay tightened. At least the left one won't. What I like about them - the hand positions - my other bikes all have drop bars so the flat bar is a bit foreign to me. I'm seriously considering going the way of trekking bars, but that's not your question...

I went shopping yesterday for bar-ends for my bike and ended up with a set of Specialized "P2 Over Endz Bar Ends". I was originally looking for the Ergons with bar-ends but didn't find any. The Specialized bar ends are like overmolded rubber so they are nice and "tacky" feeling, rather than slippery metal. They also have a nice flat area for your thumbs to rest on. They mount easily with an allen wrench.

So far, I'm very happy with them.

ETA: sprout posted while I was typing. When I first installed these, they moved when I put weight on them so I just tightened them down some more. The instructions call for a specific amount of torque but I don't have a torque wrench and just went by feel. I weigh 370 and they didn't budge during my first ride.

I just have "short" inexpensive Origin 8 short bar ends and really like them, I had a extended (long) set but they just looked goofy to me!
