Thinking about buying one. Anyone use an Ooma? Opinions? Likes? Dislikes?
This guy at the chocolate factory around the corners has tons of them. Do you make chocolate?

No, but I have a MagicJack Plus and it works pretty well.

I looked into Ooma a few years ago. I didn't care for the up front costs and limited features (or cost of bundled features) at the time. That and the hipster vibe. So I bought an ATA and went with a standard VOIP provider with "a la carte" features and decent rates.
There are better deals out there than what I have now but I've been very happy with the service and the differences in cost are not enough to make me want to go shopping again.

My folks got an Ooma...and I hate it.
They used to have a standard local prefix, so all I had to remember was the last four digits, but Ooma service doesn't cover this area fully. Now they have some funky long number that I can't remember so I call them on their cells.
