Looking for a mech/shop that is very proficient with Campy in Pasadena and/or the San Gabriel Valley.

I don't know about your area, but I can recommend Bicycle Discovery in Fountain Valley. Their mechanics know Campy well. They just rebuilt my Campy Veloce shifter for a whopping $25! I didn't need any replacement parts, just a rebuild.

+1, mention to the Costa Rican Mechanic that "Jan" sent you. Or go to Budget Pro Bikes in Eagle Rock, there used to be an old school mechanic in there.

Thanks for the suggestions. Due to proximity, I'll give Velo Pasadena a shot. Just had a not so satisfactory experience with an LBS that "rebuilt" my right hand '07 Campy Centaur shifter. Despite the rebuild, the shifting is worse now than it was before.
