Don't know but it would be interesting to find out. Suddenly Saxo would be a real GC team again. But I think they are more likely to go to Quick Step who wants some more GC guys.

Contador re-signed with Saxo Bank last week: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/18368876

My impression is Quick Step has focused on sprinters and classics for years now, have they made noises about really going after GC?

Maybe Rabobank?

You are correct, but I have read a couple of articles where Quickstep management wants to be more diversified in the future. They tried to get Contador and if they had the budget to get AC they could probably get both Andy and Frank for not too much more.

If English is your second language, please study harder. If it is not, please go back to school.

Pretty ugly situation but it is a business. There's obviously issues we don't know just like in any business. I do know the Schlecks TT'ing is abysmal. Until either gets better they'll never be able to win the tour.

I've been a long time fan of Quick Step, and with the merger and signing of Tony Martin and Levi Leipheimer they have had a remarkable and tragic season. The thing is this, they are all persistant, and that makes me feel better about the Omage Pharma/QuickStep team. Even though Chavenel is gearing up to be a good all-rounder and with Levi's experience, I don't think that they would need a main GC rider.

They already won the tour.
