I will be in Paris during the last week of the Tour and am considering taking the train to Chartres for the finish of the Time Trial on July 21, and returning in the evening. I have never been to the Tour and am only somewhat familiar with France. Does this sound like a good idea? Will it be possible to get a good view, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice.
