On my Haro Escpae I have the stock AlexRims DM 18's. and i have 2.35" tires on em. that's perfect for mtn biking and dirt riding, but not for road riding. If i could I would buy a road bike, but I can't make the funds for that w/ my alounce, lol. So, a friend suggested just putting narrower tires on them. So my question is, what is the narrowest tire my rim can take?

http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?sku=1891 im want those, the 1.5" ones. are those compatible w/ my rims?

this my be the stupidest quesiton, but oh well :)

should be fine, do you know how wide your rim is? My rims have seen a decent range of tire sizes without issue.

I would think that generally, if the tire is wider than the rim you're good to go.
