I was looking at hubs for the wheels i play on building, i stumbled across hugi 240's on ebay. Are the 240's ( non disc) a good hub? Or are they crap and better stuff elsewhere.

Phantomcow2,

They're very good hubs, and super light. Hugi claim that the freehub is the strongest on the market.

I have a 240 rear hub (disc) on my singlespeed, and it took me to a top ten finish in the SS worlds in '02. Singlespeeding can be very hard on drivetrain equipment, and I haven't ever had a problem with this hub at all.

I would go for them (at the right price).

200 for the set front and rear. It seems like a good deal as i look around online. Im probably gonna go for them, i just like to hear some more opinions.
